Meg is a PHENOMENAL physical therapist, especially for runners. She truly knows her stuff and has tons of experience in the running world. Whether its gait analysis, strength training, mobility, shoe choices, or injury rehab, any runner in the DC/NoVA area will definitely be in good hands with Meg. She's a joy to work with, and I can't recommend her enough!

Meg is the most gifted PT I have ever worked with. After being in a more traditional PT practice for over a year, trying to rehab a torn hamstring, I was introduced to her by my doctor. She had me running again in the very first session. Her gait analysis and strength work helped identify and rehab decades-old patterns of movement that were contributing to my running injuries. Mobile PT has also saved hours of travel time - and my dog loves her, too!

Meg is an amazing physical therapist! My daughter was rehabbing from a complete ACL tear from a sports injury and Meg’s expertise not only helped her from a physical perspective but from a mental perspective as well. She really listened to my daughter’s return to sport goals and created a plan to help make that happen. Meg has an incredible amount of expertise in her field but is also supportive and encouraging which is so important when dealing with a long term injury. She also explained the “why” behind the exercises which helped my daughter stay engaged in the recovery process.
If you are looking for a physical therapist that is extremely knowledgable and genuinely cares about her patients, I whole heartedly recommend Meg!

I highly recommend Dr. Meg Pezzino. She is the most dedicated and knowledgeable physical therapist that I’ve known. I’ve struggled with knee and hip issues for several years and consulted several physical therapists, but didn’t find relief until I started working with Meg. She quickly analyzed what I was doing wrong, prescribed both exercises and stretches, and then taught me something new every time we met. I’m at an age where my body is not as reliable as it used to be. However, it is a great feeling to know that, not only have I made great progress with running comfortably, but I’ve established a foundation of knowledge and fitness that will keep me moving and staying healthy as I get older.

Meg is the best PT I have worked with in my lifetime of athletics. We've been working together for the past 10 years and she has gotten me through countless triathlon seasons and various injuries. Meg is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to figure out what is really going on with my body. She assesses the injury/pain from all angles and then creates a tailored plan to improve. She is attentive and flexible; she will switch things up to ensure the treatment is working. In certain situations, Meg has referred me to additional doctors or massage therapists that have helped me. She communicates with each provider to ensure there is a team approach and everyone is working together on my behalf. Meg is also a wonderful person who really cares about people. She's encouraging, personable, and funny. She is who you want in your corner when you are dealing with setbacks.

"Ive suffered with core instability and low back/hip pain for over 10 years. I've been to multiple physical therapist. Meg did a thorough evaluation and gave me a set of exercises that almost immediately began to help. I was able to stand for longer periods, move better, and begin to have hope that I could finally get better. She is a wealth of knowledge and the best of what she does!

Meg has been a life-saver... after more than a year of pain, visits to a podiatrist, orthopedist, chiropractor, acupuncturist, and physcial therapist, I couldn't seem to get rid of the low-grade dull pain that not only bothered me constantly, but kept me from running. Immediately Meg diagnosed the issues, using videos of me running to point out areas of weakness. Within several weeks with dry needling, stretches, and strengthening, I was well on my way to recovery. Meg is a font of information, with incredible experience and insights to share. Now I'm back running a couple times a week and even had a PR at the recent Cherry Blossom 10-miler!

Meg has been my PT for over 10 years. She has helped me recover from my  ACL surgery, back issues, and knee and hip issues. Her ability to dissect a run and rebuild it has helped me come back from injury and stay injury free. She is a fierce advocate for her patients - contacting doctors and even going to my doctors appointments with me so we have a good continuum of care. Her network and community connections are awesome and add to the overall care experience.
